Sudden Loss in google traffic? Google stop sending visitor? Well this is the question most of webmaster don’t want to come across. Sudden drop in traffic will lead webmaster to spend a sleepless night.

Now the question arises what to do next? How to investigate the traffic loss. As all webmaster knows that search engine traffic played most important role to get visitor and
of course google is giant in search engine and so google send lots of visitor to any website or blog.

When this problem occurs your should answer the following question in a way to go to the root of this problem or reason.

This is common problem every webmaster encountered especially when your blog or website is 1 year or less older.

Possible Chances 1) Did you made any changes to your Blog or website in last 2-3 days?

Possible Chances 2) Have you added more hyperlink to get more internal Link?

Possible Chances 3) Is you website work on with or without www ?

Possible Chnaces 4) Title of the website and its pages title is changed?
Now we will see the Possible answer to the above Questions.

Possible Steps 1) Revert back the changes if you have made in your website or Blog

Possible Steps 2) Revert back the the changes if you trying to build internal link using href tag

Possible Steps 3) If your website work with or without www please use only www you can use 301 redirect for that

 for eg if you type in your browser yourdomain.com or and www.yourdomain.com shows same page than goolge think its tow different pages having duplicate content.

Possible Steps 4) If you have changed the tile of the website or blog than you can revert back the changes.
Apart from the above question you should also looks that use rel=”nofollow” tag in hyperlink tag especially to prevent comment spam.

FYI wordpress and blogspot already has this implemented. In case you are using your own you can use rel=”nofollow”.

Try to get more back link from a website which page rank is 4-5 or higher.

Write fresh content to your blog or website and if possible you submit it to digg.com , Stumbleupon.com etc social like websites.
